Alex Dufficy started his career in the mid 90’s working for the highly successful production company, Window Productions. Here he worked in the camera department as a clapper loader, under directors like Ray Lawrence, Phillip Noyce and Iain MacKenxzie to name a few. His job would often see him travelling around the world every other month to places such as Africa, Alaska, China, South America and so on.
After his time at Window Productions, Alex went freelance as a focus puller assisting some of Australia’s top Directors and Cameramen.

Alex today is currently working as a freelance Cinematographer. He is very sought-after both here in Australia and overseas, and specialises in commercials, drama and music videos.

Commercial clients have included Nokia, Microsoft, Google, NRMA, Bonds, Samsung, Nissan, and others.This year has seen him working on various campaigns for Microsoft and most recently for Google which took him into dangerous and remote terrain of Kalpa in India.
