Based in Los Angeles, Stewart Hendler is an award winning feature, television, and commercial director known for storytelling which balances emotion, authenticity, and cinematic scope across a variety of media. Hendler manages an active Hollywood movie career, having directed three studio features including the upcoming Max Steel—Mattel’s first live action theatrical release. His two critically acclaimed digital series Halo: Forward Unto Dawn (Microsoft) and H+ (Warner Brothers), blazed a trail in high end streaming content and earned 24 awards and nominations. An acclaimed commercial director, Hendler has collaborated with clients across the globe including Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Budweiser, Adidas, MTV, and Motorola, and his industry recognition includes an AICP Award for his work on Zune.  His more intimate short films have won awards including the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award.
