Born in the late 70s in southern Germany to a German mother and a French father I grew up with an ever-present passion for moving imagery, which I managed to turn into my profession. Beyond my two mother tongues, German and French I also speak English.

After working in the late 90’s as a Camera Assistant and shooting smaller projects by myself, I had the opportunity to study Cinematography at the prestigious ‘Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg’ from which I graduated in 2004.

In 1999 I began working as a DOP for various music videos, commercials and feature films. With every project I am looking for opportunities to grow as a creative, therefore I view every challenge as a chance to expand my knowledge. This enables me to offer the directors that I work with a unique aesthetic, which reflects the emotional content of the story. My greatest pleasure lies in hearing an outstanding idea, feeling that special atmosphere or reading a fascinating script and translating the intangible into a visual that has the ability to highlight and enhance the special nuances of every individual story.
