Andy was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. In his youth, he finished elementary music school for cello, while playing drums and guitar in different kinds of bands. He later got interested in film and entered the Film Academy.

Soon, his music and film passions came together as he started directing and editing numerous music videos for local and regional stars, with great success. That same passion took him into advertising, where he used his knowledge of rhythm and sound, combined with hip visual language and contemporary style, to make some great commercials and to work throughout Europe.

Eventually, Andy did a Global European Fanta commercial which has brought him numerous accolades and established him as one of the directors to watch.
