In seemingly record time Wutthitrai "Wut" Priyapakdeekul has gone from one of Thailand’s emerging talents to one of it’s leading cinematographers. Early on in his career, Wut, a self-taught photographer on the streets of Bangkok caught the attention of many of Thailand’s leading magazine editors with his thoughtful documentary style. Wut’s first foray into cinematography saw him win Thailand’s Best Cinematography Award’ for his work on a music video. After 3 years in Paris, where he worked tirelessly on a string of award-winning short films, developing the unique visual style, Wut has been back in Asia shooting non-stop on TVCs and music videos. With every passing shoot, Wut’s passion for cinematography has grown, matched only by his drive to improve his craftsmanship as a visual storyteller.
