Paul began his career as a cinematographer shooting art projects and documentaries for broadcasters such as The BBC, Aljazeera and The Discovery Channel whilst collaborating on independent documentary features with directors such as Fan Lixin, Matt Tyrnauer and Janet Tobias.
In 2013 he shot a branded content series for Volkswagen which won a Gold Lion for Branded Entertainment at Cannes International Festival. In the past three years he has pushed into narrative work shooting short films, VFX projects and several feature films as a second unit cinematographer. At the same time he has shot commercials and branded content pieces for Nike, Apple, Baidu, Alibaba, Huawei and Mercedes.
