An Italian directing duo formed by Paolo Borgato and Tommaso Bertè. The duo met in Milan in 2004 while producing commercials and started directing together. Before directing, Borgato spent 10 years working in production, first as a production manager and later as producer. Among his other professional experiences he has been an editor, photographer, and 1st AD in feature films. Berté attended film school in France and started his career in the film world as a production assistant there. Back in Italy he worked first as directors’ scout and later as a producer. In 2005 their PSA for Save the Children "Schoolbus" gave rise to international acclaim, winning the Shots/cfp-e Young Directors Award. In 2006 their work for sport brand Freddy "Human Machine" (agency 1861 United) was welcomed as one of the most creative films of the year, gaining a place in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase 2007. Shots Magazine spotted them as new directors to watch, interviewing them in its Italian Special Issue about their fast-growing career and including some selected work in shots New Directors showcase. Their list of clients include, among others, Vodafone, Volkswagen, EDP (Energy of Portugal), Eon, Moschino, L’Oréal, Lavazza, Ikea, Orange, VW, Sprite, Henkle, Times, Edison, Philips .
